Limit: Two (2) entries per class per exhibitor

Exhibits Released: Monday, Aug. 31st, 3 - 8 p.m.
Danish System of Judging
POTTED PLANTS: Plants must be owned by exhibitor and in exhibitor’s possession for at least 60 days prior to the opening day of the Fair.

1. Cactus or Succulent
2. Fairy Gardens
3. Terrarium
4. Any Hanging Plant
5. Any not listed

DIVISION 9
Jr Silk Arrangements CLASS:
1. Holiday Dazzle – appropriate for any Holiday
2. Play Time – Using toys as container or part of the ar-
rangement
3. Fair Theme – Using the Current Fair Theme
4. Disney – Disney Theme Arrangements
5. Story Time – Arrangement using accessories and nov-
elties to depict a favorite children’s book. Book must be named on a place card not to exceed 3in x 5in.
6. Circus Fun – Design a container garden that depict the BIG TOP.
7. Matchbox City – Design a container garden using little cars.
HORTICULTURE
Be sure to refer to all applicable state and local rules for the divisions you enter!
Entry Fee: Entry Fees to be paid on take in date, fee based on total actual entries received 1 – 5 entries/person $5.00 total
6 – 15 entries/person $7.00 total
16 or more entries/person $10.00 total
Entry Deadline: July 18, 2020 – 5pm

Exhibits Received: Friday, Aug. 21, 8-11 a.m.
Exhibit Exchange for Perishable Items: Wednesday Aug. 26, 8-11 a.m. Exhibits Released: Monday, Aug. 31, 2 - 7 p.m.
American System of Judging
In all Classes that have: Any Variety, specify on Entry Form, Please put it in the Description Area!
*A Limit of 5 changes will be allowed on day of take in.
The following Guidelines are factors which the judges usually consider in placing awards: 1. Condition of product, free from insects, injury, blemishes, disease
2. Quality of the product - firm, tender, crisp, fresh
3. Form - typical of variety, uniform
4. Size - desired by commercial use (commercial grocery/ Market Quality)
5. Husband and wife are considered 1 exhibitor (see State Rules)
6. The Fair will provide plates for fruit and vegetables displays
7. Judge has the discretion to change, disqualify, or move any item. (Cal. St. III. 4 a.)
ALL FARM & GARDEN EXHIBITS MUST BE GROWN IN THE ANTELOPE VALLEY BY THE EXHIBITOR. EXHIBITORS MUST REPLACE PERISHABLES WITH FRESH FRUIT & VEGETABLES ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2020 BETWEEN 8 -11 a.m.
