FRESH CUT FLOWERS SPECIMENS
It is recommend cutting flowers in early morning, immersing in lukewarm water, 100 degrees, and using a teaspoon of sugar or Floral Life. Place in refrigerator overnight.
RULES:
1. No Cut Flowers to be entered day of exhibit take-in.
2. When the number of plants or cut flowers in a class is indicated, the use of more or less plants or cut flowersin display will
disqualify the entry.
3. Uniform containers will be furnished by the management for cut flowers.
4. Flower specimens must have their own foliage. No dyed fresh flowers or imitation or artificial plant material.
5. Exhibitors will not be permitted in the immediate vicinity of the judging area during judging.
6. The management reserves the right, after judging is completed, to remove, freshen or replace any exhibit.
7. If specific attention is needed in some way of watering, please advise the Supervisor.
8. Potted plants, arrangements and hanging plants to be preregistered.
9. Flowers must have been grown by exhibitor. Entries will be thrown out at the end of each show. Stems may be composted
of more than one flower.
10. Exhibitors may replace Fresh Cut Flowers on Aug. 26, 9am – 1:00pm
Pre-registration is not required, but preferred, by July 18, 2020 ENTRIES MUST BE MADE BY – August 19, 12:00 noon
Entry Fee: Entry Fees to be paid on take in date, fee based on total actual entries received
1 – 5 entries per person $5.00 total; 6 – 15 entries per person $7.00 total; 16 or more entries per person $10.00
