58th RQS hosts 31 Heroes Memorial WOD

Participants in the 31 Heroes Memorial Workout perform thrusters at the 58th Rescue Squadron gym, Aug. 6, 2015. The workout was established to honor the 31 American
servicemembers killed in action on Aug. 6, 2011 when the helicopter they were aboard was shot down over Afghanistan. The 31 Heroes project works to make an impact on the lives
of the nation’s heroes and families, through athletic endeavors. The workout consisted of thrusters, rope climbs, box jumps and a 400 meter sandbag carry that lasted 31 minutes.
