P. 72
Galactical misery
As I'm standing on the roof
I'm finding something logical
See, every shooting star is proof
That falling can be magical
As I'm staring at the stars
I'm starting to understand
If someone really was that far
They'll never see me where I stand
In the grandest scheme of things
Our lives are insignificant
Compared to planets, stars and rings
It truly is magnificent
A million souls could die at once
the solar system wouldn't care
And here we're counting up the months
Complain and say life isn't fair
Every second matters more
Every blood drop matters less
Who am I doing this for?
Lost in panic and distress
It’s a starry night tonight
But I’m staring at the ceiling
Slowly losing all my sight
Losing every beat and feeling
Dust to dust, ashes to ashes
Carry me between the stars
Cover up my bruised-up gashes
bury my body on Mars
