PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“So do not worry...“ Mathew 6:31
TO GOD: Father, thank you for your life-giving word which “is a
lamp for my feet, a light on my path” (Psalm 119:105).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may we desire to know the mind of Christ so your peace will guard our hearts and minds, dispelling anxiety.
FOR THE WORLD: We pray for prisons and prisoners throughout the world. Father, please set captives free to know liberty in Christ. Turning lives around through restorative justice.
FOR OUR NATION: Lord we pray for the many people who are struggling with stress, depression and anxiety. May the church reach out as an agent of Holy Spirit inspired well-being through initiatives such as Kintsugi Hope.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and their minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Today, I remember especially...
FOR MYSELF: Lord God, may I take time today to come into the peace of your presence to hear your still small voice dispelling fear. Amen.
PRAYER
Father, please minister to people at Chris Hill’s seminars on 10th and 11th. AMEN.

Paul is the British Comedy Award-winning writer (BBC’s Miranda, Not Going Out, Top Gear, ITV’s Royal Variety Show), broadcaster & comedian, who performs GOOD CLEAN FUN in comedy clubs & churches. One of the few to appear on Radio 2’s Pause for Thought and at London’s Comedy Store, Paul has toured his solo show at Spring Harvest, Greenbelt and Keswick, the Edinburgh Fringe and Montreal Comedy Festival. He’s written for Matt LeBlanc, Michael Bublé, Miranda Hart + some people whose names don’t begin with M.
The show is good clean fun, suitable for all from atheists to archbishops!
