 LET US PRAY...
“If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know
you and continue to find favour with you. Remember that this
nation is your people.” Exodus 33:13 NCT PRAYER
TO GOD: Father, show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long (Psalm 25:4-5).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, we acknowledge that we are the Body of Christ, holy and righteous. We belong to Christ, ordained to conform to his likeness and be his ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20). Thank you Lord.
FOR THE WORLD: Father, you love the peoples of the world and you want none to perish (2 Peter 3:9). The harvest is plentiful, so we pray for labourers to bring it in (Luke 10:2).
FOR OUR NATION: Father, your word tells us that ‘Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people’ (Proverbs 14:34). We pray for every stratum of society, especially family life.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, there are so many people we know suffering with mental health issues. We take a moment now to pray for healing and, where necessary, deliverance. May we learn to listen, rather than giving glib solutions.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I be a lifelong disciple, always enthusiastic to learn from Jesus as well as learning about him. Amen.
Lord please draw near to those who attend John Ryeland’s event on 29th Nov. May it be a precious time. In
Jesus name.
AMEN.
