PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding... Proverbs 2:6
TO GOD: Father, thank you that the gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, move in our hearts, instilling a love for the lost and a desire to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
FOR THE WORLD: Father, for the glory of your Name and the salvation of the lost, convict the hearts of men and women to support the mission to carry the gospel into the world.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, may your church be true to your word, shunning compromise and boldly declaring, “It is written...”
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, may we be good witnesses, knowing that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
FOR MYSELF: Father, may my heart be stirred so that ‘my tongue becomes the pen of a skilful writer’ (Psalm 45:1). Amen.

Lord, bless Chris Hill’s words at the conference on Discipleship training as he explores the training method of Jesus.

3 DAY CONFERENCE ON DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING
With Chris Hill Mon 17th – Weds 19th March
Our Lord Jesus Christ called His faithful followers “Disciples”. The word means “those who follow and learn”. One of the major features of the disciple training applied to the Twelve by Jesus is that it was
just that: training and not just teaching! In fact, He spent three whole years training them up to the level where He was able to leave them exercising His ministry and displaying His character. In studying the four gospel accounts we can discern different stages in the process of discipling and explore the training method of Jesus.
Each day will run from 10.30am-3.15pm with tea/coffee from 10.00am. The cost of £25
per person per day includes a 2 course lunch. If you can also make a donation to our running costs, please add that to the event fee above. Thank you.
Option for Dinner/Bed/Breakfast - special price for this conference:
