PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3
TO GOD: Father, thank you that through your Son and his mission you have made yourself known and brought salvation to the world.
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may your church, the Body of Christ, abound in the wonder and knowledge of what eternal life truly means.
FOR THE WORLD: Father, you have saved us to be bearers of the wonderful message of the Good News of Jesus Christ. May we seek opportunities to sow seeds of salvation.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, may your Holy Spirit move across our fragmented nation, bringing revival to the church, irrespective of denomination.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, may our lives declare and demonstrate the reality of eternal life in ways that both challenge and attract our friends to come to faith.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I desire to know you in ever deeper ways, growing in love for and dependence on you. Amen.
