Billing Process
BILLING PROCESS
• The Utility will calculate the monthly UBP premium and add to customer’s billing statement that begins with their Effective Date of Coverage
o The premium will be calculated by multiplying the customer’s current monthly bill covering the last month’ service (including taxes , fees etc) by the premium charge %
• The monthly UBP premium will be waived for any customer who has been approved for and is in active claim status.
• The daily file will be posted to an SFTP site setup by the TPA. Unique credentials and folders will be setup for each Utility.
