MEMBERSHIP MUTTERS
Christmas has now been packed away into the attic and all of the unwanted presents have been put to one side for the next time that someone says “Can you donate a ra e prize?”
This is now the coldest time of the year but the days are very slowly getting longer, Spring will be with us before we know it and the camping season will start! Winter does have some advantages though; you can close the curtains and gather around a warm re without feeling guilty about all those jobs that always need doing outside!
Your vans need to be looked after at this time of year (see The Mechanic’s guide in this issue) as a closed van with no ventilation will soon get damp with mould developing and ruining your soft furnishings. If you have to store your van outside, this is something to be aware of and is easily prevented. Ventilate and keep dry.
We already have some shows booked up for 2017 where the membership stand will be in attendance; I hope to meet some of you there. We are going to try and make our stand more prominent this year so please come and look for us. The shows that we will be attending are detailed in this magazine.
My only membership grumble this time is PLEASE make sure that your PayPal account has the same address as the address that you have given me or I will not be able to nd you. When you receive your reminder slip with your magazine please do not be concerned that any partner’s details are not included or that there is a zero missing from the start of your phone numbers as they are included in my database.
The membership is just “ticking over” at this time of year with few new members but it does have the advantage of giving a bit more time for myself and my family.
I am very proud to send new members copies of our new style magazine, thanks to Phil and Sophie it is becoming what we want it to be, but we still need more members input, it is your magazine so please use it.
The next magazine will be o cially springtime! Flowers growing and longer days, Wonderful!
