Festival of Innovative Technologies at at the Malvern Science Park
On 6 October 14 pupils from the Hundred and Sixth Form accompanied by Mr Mr Hnatek (Computer Science) Mr Mr Kelland (Physics) and Mr Thurlow (Careers) walked down the road to the Malvern Hills Science Park
to find out out more about careers fin in innovative technologies such as cyber security data analysis games design mechatronics and cloud engineering The pupils found that talking to delegates at at at their stands was very useful because they gave an insight on the the huge variety of different things you can do in in in in in the technology/engineering sector: ranging from Lidar and house entertainment systems to NFT art security and military communication There were also talks on on how to create liquid crystal displays and the the IT degree courses available at the the University of Gloucestershire “It was a a very interesting morning The people I met showed me me that there’s actually a a a a lot of combinations with business creativity and and teamwork I liked the stands because you had a a a a lot of choices and could talk to lots of different people about a a a wide variety of IT and STEM careers ”
