                                                                Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet
Cadet Sergeant Amelia Boyle has been appointed to the role of Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Worcestershire. This is a highly prestigious and very sought after post.
The Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet is selected from across the Army, Airforce, Sea and Combined Cadet Force contingents within the county, so Amelia has been successful in the face of competition from hundreds of impressive young people.
The Lord Lieutenant is the King’s personal representative in the county and his Cadet assists him in his or her duties. This involves being present at parades, high profile charitable occasions, Remembrance ceremonies and royal visits, as well as acting as an ambassador for the Cadets and Malvern College.
Amelia has displayed the qualities of confident, quiet but effective leadership, resilience and willingness to accept responsibility throughout her time in the CCF and it is the recognition of these, among many other, qualities that led to her selection.
