Hi Members, Purchased on a dark rainy day in a car park in Leeds in 1986 we spend many pleasurable hours driving this Type 34 Karmann Ghia to parts in the UK and Europe. Following a long trip to as far as Budapest and on the return through the old East Germany in 1990 on the bumpy roads the car needed an overhaul. Jim Murphy offered to rebuild, repair and respray in what turned out to be an attractive light bronze. We organised trips to Belgium, France, Holland and Germany and enjoyed
the company of our Club members from the UK but were also joined by friends from Germany and France. This mainly picture book refers to these and UK events, you have to buy it to see whether you are in it!!
Life with a Type 34 Karmann Ghia OAL 250 F by Mike Kelly, 123 pages is available for cost price of £8 plus postage. Please email astridkelly.hamburg@gmail.com to order.

Hi Mike and Astrid, certainly sounds like an interesting read and I’m sure there are some members that would be curious to see if they feature!

Hi Members, I have been a member
of the club since September 2000
and wanted to share a picture taken at Stanford Hall of my Pampas Yellow 1970, with white roof. The picture was taken
at Stanford Hall.

Hi Michael, what a lovely looking example and it looks like you had fantastic weather on that occasion at Stanford Hall too!
