Lastminute.com? It certainly feels like it this edition! I am sat typing this on the Friday morning of our International Weekend. Despite the many complications that
Bangers and Cash TV show, ‘The cars fetch people together’. This is certainly true as people from all walks of life, from across the country, are travelling hundreds of miles to be together and enjoy our wonderful hobby and common interest in all things Karmann Ghia. Hopefully we will have some ‘taster photos’ from the weekend ready for inclusion in this edition of the magazine.
With summer almost upon us, why not take your VW out to a nearby classic car show? It has been a while! One thing is for sure, you will be amongst friends!

Covid compliance brings, we have managed to ensure our annual gathering goes ahead in 2021. Thanks to all those who have supported the event and travelled considerable distances to be with us this weekend.
I am looking forward to putting faces to the names of those attending and sharing stories about our cars. As the saying goes on the

Have you spent lockdown doing some work on your car?
Have you used a local garage or
car related specialist?
If you have, then the club would
love to hear from you.
Guy (Vice Chair and London SE Region) is in the process of updating our club ‘recommended garages and services’ – So irrespective of where you are in
the country or world, if you have
used someone for maintenance, mild
restoration or MOT work and would recommend them, please let him know.
Equally if you’ve used a VW key/lock, or a chroming business, or anything else you feel other club members would like to hear about, I would also like to have your recommendations to be added to the register for the benefit of all members.
The information in the club is
only as good as the contributions
and recommendations we receive from you, so if you have had a great Ghia related service experience, please let me know and the services they provide.
