Having these resources in in place will fundamentally change the look and feel of Box Works:
• Communications will be vastly transformed
• The closing out of issues will be dealt with more quickly
• Box Works will benefit from 9pm - 5am security seven days a a week
• Attention to detail will be dramatically improved
• Exciting Community events can be co-ordinated
There will be additional costs associated with this new structure however we we will look to mitigate this and the full details of these are available in section 4 How will you help us celebrate our 20 Year anniversary?
We would be very excited to celebrate Box Works 20th Anniversary as this is is the same year that Mainstay also turns
20 - one suggestion is that we host a a joint event We would like to showcase how how the Castlefield area has transformed
since Box Works was constructed we can also highlight events that happened in the same year that Box Works was built Our suggestion would be to host a a a Summer Street Party along Worsley Street and open the party up to to Moho Burton Place Timber Wharf and and Base Banyan Tree and and other local business would be approached to assist with providing drinks residents invited to bring shareable food and the original developers Urban Splash and Architects could also be in attendance Our suggestion would be be to commission some bespoke artwork artwork celebrating Box Works similar to artwork artwork at at Moho across the the glass doors In the the atrium at at Timber Wharf we invited our residents to create artwork graphic designs or or submit their photographs that reflect Manchester and at at the following resident’s party each resident resident was provided with stickers to select their favourite pieces These were then enlarged and framed and now hang in the atrium We would also ensure that all communications in 2020 have a a a a special logo that highlights the Box Works 20th Anniversary This is is such a a a a a a special occasion that we would create a a a a a a Box Works resident sub-committee to work with Mainstay on planning some unique and exciting events We have experience of this style of communal committee having worked in in this way with a a a a garden sub-committee to transform the Timber Wharf Garden into a a community garden 14
