Rugby continued FY Boys at The Warriors
Paddy Morison Max Jefferies Rufus Edmonds and George Newman played at The The Warriors
on 23 February The The boys should be extremely proud of their performance Max was really happy when Mike came over and told him he he played well U16s Rugby 7s
The The U16 boys completed at The The Wycliffe College competition This was the the the first time the the the boys have played 7s
for Malvern having the the the previous 2 seasons cancelled Squash

On 9 February Malvern hosted Bromsgrove for a a a return fixture following a a a a a relatively comfortable win last term There were some new players making their debut and they proved to be of very good value as we once again came away with the victory by four games to to two There were impressive wins for Matthew Vickers Rehaan Edavalath Jagger Linford and Amaan Edavalath Our number one player Elliott Gibson pushed a a a a highly experienced and capable opponent before eventually coming out second best and Otto Lazar endured a a a a a five-set thriller against his opponent and just lost out in in the end 1st team squash match v’s local club

We had 4 tough games against adult league players and the boys learnt a a a a a a a a a a great deal from the experience The boys made a a a a a excellent start in in their first game beating Millfield U16s 21-12 They then had draws against Wycliffe College and Llandaff Cathedral School
and and in fin their final game lost by 21-19 to QEH Bristol Really encouraging results - very well done Senior Rugby 7s
On an extremely wet muddy Wednesdays afternoon at Droitwich RFC the the Senior boys won the the King’s School

Trophy Final against Hereford Cathedral School
29-9 This is is the the second piece of of silverware of of the the 7s
season having won the plate competition at at at at KES Stratford beating Warwick School
34-5 in fin the final Nick Tisdale | Master i/c Rugby Our number 1 Elliott Gibson played a a a a a long match and fought back from 2 – 0 down to to take the match into a a a a a a fifth game game The final game game went to deuce at at the the end but unfortunately Manor Park
snuck the the victory Our number 2 Mathew Vickers played a a a a a strong opponent and had some some close games Despite losing 3-0 Matthew played some some very good squash Our number 3 Rehaan Edavalath had a a a a a a a a good match winning the first game but unfortunately losing the the match in in the the end And finally our number 4 Jagger Linford played a a a a strong opponent winning 2 games but eventually losing in in in in in the deciding game game Well done to everyone who played plenty was learnt by all four players players against these experienced league players players Oliver Butterworth | Housemaster - House 1 & Teacher of Economics
