Unplugged
It’s been another busy term for the College’s musicians with numerous events and performances.
First up was our first Unplugged concert at the end of September in the Rogers Theatre – our traditional way of kicking off the Music performance programme. Despite it being so early in the year, the quality was very good indeed with a variety of styles performed – we even had an Electronic Dance Music composition from a GCSE pupil - to a warm and inclusive audience who greatly appreciated the performers, and all most ably hosted by Kipp Norbury of House No.1.
Music Makers – October
Soon followed the first Music Makers concert in early October, where we were treated to a concert of solo performances to a large, supportive and enthusiastic audience. 9 Houses and all year groups were represented with Music from the Classical, Romantic and Impressionism to modern Music Theatre, and even a medley incorporating music from Bach to KSI!
