THE MALVERNIAN
Celebrating St Cecilia
Then we had a new event in Big School – a concert to celebrate St Cecilia, the patron saint of Music. It is most appropriate that this concert was given by the College’s Music Award holders and guests, and I am sure that it will become an annual event. As you would expect, the quality of music-making was very high, and it is only right that our Music leaders are given a dedicated opportunity to showcase their talents. We thank them all, of course, for their performances in this concert but also everything that they do in leading the musical activities of the College.

Music Makers - November
The Music programme then resumed after half-term with 2 concerts in a week. Firstly we had the second Music Makers, again in St. Edmund’s Hall. 12 more performances with music from Handel to Celine Dion via a French Horn Concerto movement, 3 Nocturnes and Music Theatre – there really is something for everyone at our concerts!
