House Singing
Then, on the Sunday before half-term, we had House Singing – almost certainly the biggest and most eagerly-anticipated House competition of all. In Malvern Theatres (the spiritual home of the event), 570 pupils representing 87% of the College put themselves forward to sing for their House, and we had an excellent evening of singing and entertainment. As ever, the atmosphere was absolutely electric and wonderfully positive, with great commitment shown by each and every performer. Mr Julian McNamara was our adjudicator this year and, in the end, he awarded the Adjudicator’s Cup jointly to Ellerslie House and House No.8, the Timms Cup to House No.1, with House No.6 the overall winners. Many congratulations to everyone who took part – an enormous amount of work goes into this event by the pupils and a great evening was had by all.
