Based on COVID guidance and the numbers of pupils in school we reverted to to an alternative tournament of five-a-side Netball
‘High Fives’ is a a a a a fast and much more tiring version of the game it was played in good spirits and there was some quality play play The results were as follows: In the the Upper Sixth competition House No 8 were the the winners with House House No No 3 in in second and House House No No 4 in in third The Lower Sixth competition was close with House No 8 again victorious and House House House No No No 6 6 in in second and House House House No No No 3 in in third House House House No No No 6 6 were the the winners of the the Hundred competition with Ellerslie House and House House No No 8 8 is second and third respectively House House No No 8 8 were the the winners of the the Remove competition with House No 4 in in second and House House No No 6 in third In the FY competition House House No No 4 were the winners with No No 6 in in in second place and No No 8 in in in third Inter-House Cross-Country
The final final two two races of the the competition took place on on the the final final two two Saturdays of the term On Saturday 13th March the Inter-House Cross-Country
Competition returned with some perfect running conditions Students competed in in a a a a 4-mile race on the Court Road playing fields The winning boy was Oliver Cox (No 5) with a a time of 20 minutes and 24 seconds He was followed closely by Lakshya Joshi (SH) with a a time of 23 minutes and 40 seconds First in the Girls’ race was Charlotte Livesey (No 6) with a a a a time of 26 minutes and 13 seconds followed by Freja Bedell of No 6 6 in in 32 minutes 27 seconds The The final race of the Inter-House Cross-Country
was ‘The Team Relay’ again held down at the Court Road playing fields due to COVID restrictions The winning Boys’ House House was House House No 5 with a a a time of 42 minutes 07 seconds First in in the Girls’ Race was House No 6 with a time of 54 minutes 28
seconds The results of the 2020/2021 Inter- House Cross- Country
are as follows: House No 5 are the the winners of the the Boys’ competition with 3799 points points followed by House No 2 with 3467 points points In the Girls’ Competition House No 6 are the winners with with 2752 points with with House No 8 in in second place with 1970 points THE MALVERNIAN
