CLUB EVENTS UPDATE

The club are going to Germany again in May 2026. We have been invited to join our German friends for their event again in Kalletal, central Germany on the weekend of 30/31 May 2026, and from Calais we need at least 2 days of driving. Watch out for updates in the coming issues. We are currently planning some day trips in Germany with possibilities of village heritage, an open-air museum, a food demo, computer museum, a river boat and possibly a brewery!

We already have at least 8 vehicles going from the UK plus around 15 German vehicles. Expect the return ferry / tunnel to be about £300 and your deposit will be put towards the Kalletal camping and food that weekend.

At the time of writing (October 2026) the Camper Jam early bird tickets are on sale. I don’t know when the early bird discount stops though, sorry.
This is not a Club organised event, but we do have a Club area if you wish to join us there. If you do, when you book up and you are completing the Vehicle Pass section – select Club Camping from the drop-down box. Then, for the “Club Name” select the Volkswagen T2 Owners club option. This is important as it helps
the organisers to allocate the correct amount of space to the Club.
Helen and Andy Hinchcliffe are the event leads for Camper Jam 2026 so please let them know when you have booked for club camping by emailing Helen on discounts@vwt2oc.co.uk so we have you on the list and can allocate space for you.
