Foundation Year Desk Lamp Project
Lighting up the English corridor of the Main Building is the fantastic work completed by some of the Foundation Year students as part of their Design and Technology, Resistant Materials Desk Lamp Project. Students were given the brief to design and manufacture a desk lamp using tulip wood, acrylic and mild steel or aluminium. Students used a variety of hand and machine tools including the use of computer aided design and computer aided manufacture to product their work.
