Boys Inter-House Basketball
The boys Inter-House basketball competition took place this term. Played over three rounds there was some exciting play on show, including impressive 3-point shots, lay-ups and phenomenal defending. The final was between House No.7 and School House, which was an epic battle that went into double over-time with House No.7 winning with the ‘golden basket’. House No.1 beat House No.9 in the 3rd/4th play-off in what was a very close game, with House No.2 finishing in 5th after an exciting match against House No.5. Well done to all the boys for their involvement in a competition that sees teams made up of players from the FY up to Upper Sixth.
Junior Boys Swimming Competition
Saturday 18 June saw the junior boys take part in an Inter-House swimming competition. With the boys taking part in both individual races across the four disciplines in both 25m and 50m races and one 100m freestyle race, as well as relays to finish off an exciting gala. It was a close competition with only five points separating the top two. In the end House No.7 were victorious with House No.9 and House No.5 finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Skiing Success
Congratulations to Theodore Michiels (No.5) who competed in the French skiing Championships in Les Contamines on the slalom event where he secured a third place and qualified for the parallel slalom event.
