EAL
Our English as an an Additional Language (EAL) department supports those pupils who join Abberley Hall with a a a a a first language other than English New pupils are assessed individually upon arrival so we can quickly establish their level of spoken and written English We have a a a qualified EAL
teacher who analyses the needs and expectations of each child as they enter the the school This approach enables the individual to get the the most out of their time here and achieve their potential both academically and socially Children who come to Abberley for an academic year are encouraged to take the internationally- recognised Cambridge PET level examination In recent years Abberley Hall students have had 100% 100% pass for PET with 60% Merits and 100% 100% First Certificate ‘I can’t wait to see children learning in in a a a a a classroom again where they can be creative imaginative inventive
