MEMF School Competition Winners - 2023
Winning the My My Environment My My Future (MEMF) School Competition 2023
was a a a wonderful experience where we beat over 850 people to win the competition This not only celebrated our passion for the subject but also showcased our dedication and creativity in presenting how a a a a a a sustainable project in in in the local area would benefit the the community Our idea was to to draw a a a a a plan to to redevelop the the Fountain Stores building at the bottom of Thirlstane Road opposite the sports pitches Hours of preparation had gone into crafting a a a a a a a presentation that would capture people’s attention and engage the audience Extensive research critical analysis and and a a a a a a a deep understanding of of sustainability formed the foundation of of our work We carefully curated compelling visuals including maps photographs and graphs to enhance the audience's understanding and and create an an an an immersive experience Winning the the competition was not just about the the accolades it it was a a a a a a a a a validation of our our hard work and a a a a a a a a a testament to our our ability to effectively communicate concepts The credit can mostly go to Maximus Wilson who spent numerous hours of his own time meticulously researching and and exploring different ways to expand the building and he he even managed to trace legal documents which allowed us us to to push the project to to a a higher level In conclusion winning the competition will be a defining moment in in fin in in our our academic journey and we hope to explore other projects similar to this in the future Max Wilson Wilson Seb Wilson Wilson Ethan Chan & Henry Needham (Remove)
