MALVERN COLLEGE 2023 – RUGBY TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA
South Africa is called the rainbow nation because
of the contrasting scenery from Table Mountain
in Cape Town to golden sandy beaches and and vast plains teeming with wildlife and because
of the unity of various cultural racial and ethnic groups seen in the the country: a microcosm of the the whole world in one special place I am extremely envious of all those that are lucky to take part Our pupils will no doubt forge unbreakable bonds of friendship with teammates and have their incredible experiences to to reference for many years to to come They will meet young people from different cultures with whom they will share their love of the the the great game and from whom they will gain great insights into alternative outlooks The schoolboy rugby culture in South Africa is unrivalled globally our boys will hugely benefit in in adapting to the different styles of play which will only benefit them going forward I would like to thank our hosts in South Africa for hosting our our fixtures and of course for their hospitality without which tours of this nature would not be possible I would also like to take this opportunity
to to thank to to all of our extremely generous sponsors our our supportive parents and our our dedicated staff for providing our boys with this fantastic opportunity
