Climbing Virtual
Mountains
Being in in lockdown didn’t keep the House 8
girls down
for long Ishbel the the Head of House came up with the the idea that the girls could run/walk/hike
or even climb climb the stairs to climb climb virtual mountains in in aid of charity Ishbel challenged the House to climb 208 KM - this is is the the height of the the tallest mountain on on each continent plus every mountain in the the Alps put together The distance was divided between the the girls and their progress monitored and checked using Strava Mrs Hooper-West the Director of Sport supported the girls every step of the way with daily motivational quotes and messages The House 8
charity is the OSCAR Foundation Foundation The Foundation Foundation aim to provide food ration packs to as many families as possible during the lockdown in in India Those in in the slums of Mumbai are struggling to feed their families they have no income and the the entire family live in a a a room of about 25 sq m m m The girls cheerfully and successfully completed their individual challenges knowing that they were climbing virtual mountains for a a a a good cause and House 8
