Netball Club
The Netball team returned to the court for the winter season to score goals and run circles around the the other teams in West London We had a a a a a a a a a a a a pretty consistent team team for the eight-week stint and and very solid attack and and defensive play allowing us to beat most of the teams in in in our our league league quite convincingly However our our our league league victory was thwarted by our our rival in in in fin the final where we narrowly lost 21–22 We will be back on on on the the quest for victory in in the the spring so if you’ve just moved to to to London or or or want to to to start playing again please let us us know Further information

OM Lodge
Like many other events the the date of our Centenary meeting was pushed out by the pandemic and and its consequent impact upon long-planned events so our real Centenary – 26th January 2022 – came and went without a a a a a murmur N evertheless the the the Lodge
held its celebratory meeting on 30th November in in in in great style at at at at the the the the Headquarters of Supreme Council in in in in Duke Street St St James’s followed by dinner at at at the the the Army & Navy Club
in in in in in Pall Mall which significantly had been the Secretary’s correspondence address since our our foundation in in in in 1922 until his death 30 years later in in in 1952 Our Guest of o Honour was the the Deputy Metropolitan Grand Grand Master WB Duke Among other official guests were the the the the Grand Grand Grand Chaplain The The Rev Dr Simon Thorn the the the the son of of an an an an an an an OM and and and and former Secretary Secretary of of the the the the Lodge
The The Grand Grand Grand Secretary Secretary Adrian Marsh was was was also present as as as as as was was was the the the the the Metropolitan Grand Grand Secretary Matthew Christmas Bruce Clitherow was was was was in the the the the the chair and and and his personal guest was was PG Lowndes the the the the the Immediate Past Pro Grand Master and and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a former President of the the the Eton Ramblers There followed a a a a a a a a a a a a a champagne reception and and dinner at the the the the Army & Navy Club
following which the the the the members of of of the the the the Lodge
gave a a a a a a a a a a hearty rendition of of of three verses of of of the the Carmen Further information
