CCF continued In 2009 we we were approached by Bredon School located not far away in Tewkesbury and asked if we could support them and and their students with the the the opening and and mentoring a a a CCF section for them This meeting resulted in in a a partnership which lasted 12 years Bredon School Army section became an integral part of Malvern College’s CCF Orbat and cadets deployed on all our major activities including Adventure Training and Summer Camps In December 2021 we proudly attended Bredon School’s CCF formation parade as they they have now grown to such a a a a a a size that they they have finally established their own unit It is is with a a a a sense of pride that we have been able to nurture help and encourage countless Bredon students to be be the the best that they can be and we look forward to working closely with them in in the future Looking forward to to 2022 sees a a a a a a a a a a a very busy calendar with a a a a a a a a a a a Winter Mountaineering Expedition to to Scotland in in in in in February and and March alone featuring a a a a a a a a Cadet Skill At Arms Meeting (CSAAM) shooting competition the the Royal Marine Pringle Competition held at at the the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines Lympstone (CTCRM) Exercise Malvern Rifles a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a 2-day tactical deployment to to a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a military training area and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Biennial Inspection to name but a a few Despite the the the upheaval caused by CV19 the the the CCF was able to to continue to to function and can engage any further challenges in in front of us us This ability is is is is is down to to to the the the the cadets They have risen to to to every challenge set before them displaying all all all the the the the skill alluded to to to at the the the the start of this article John Nichols Bert Lacey

Outdoor Pursuits
We have had a a a a a a a hectic term of Outdoor Pursuits
with all climbing biking and kayaking clubs meeting weekly and seeing trips return to all parts of the UK! Our white-water kayaking weekend over Leave Out was a a a a a highlight with many of our pupils really finding their confidence in in the fast flowing rapids!
