During lockdown two House 6 girls entered The Royal Society of Biology’s Nancy Rothwell Anatomical Drawing Competition
Nayanna Sira drew drew the the image of a a a a a a chameleon in pencil and Arabella Shuttleworth drew drew the the wolf spider Miss Cathy Hartog

Music Makers
We had our second socially-distanced Music Makers
(solo recital) on
Thursday 19th November and we we were treated to an an excellent evening’s music Once again we we were unable to have a a live audience but with the wonders of modern technology we were able to to stream the the concert live to to the the whole Malvern College community across the the world and thus increase the the access to our music programme significantly We were treated to performances by Shea John and Oli Doherty (No (No 2) Eve Leslie and Oriane Bensoussan (No (No 3) Charlotte Li Li Isabel Barrett and and Nalni Chen (all of No 4) Lincoln Chu and and Will Crossland (No 5) Louisa Marsden-Smedley and and Emily Elgar (of No No 6) Charlie Greenwood and James Francis (No 9) and Seb Filho (SH) There was a a a a a a lovely varied programme ranging from from singing to to piano from from violin and and guitar to to clarinet and and flute with repertoire from Handel to to Varèse via Mendelssohn and and Menken and even had Oli playing an an extract from his own composition It was a a a a a a high-quality concert and our thanks go to the performers as as well as to Mrs Mrs Leaver and Mrs Mrs Price for their accompanying Mr Jonathan Brown
