Hockey Coaching Workshop for Prep Schools Teaching Staff
Tuesday 1st September 2020
Join Mark Moss, our Head of Hockey and England Men’s over 35’s Coach on this complementary half-day Hockey Coaching Workshop.
The workshop will focus on training ideas and practice design. Input prior to the workshop is sought and this will ensure that attendees derive as much benefit from the investment of time as possible. The workshop will be a combination of pitch and classroom-based learning.

Year 8 Adventure Day
Sunday 13th September 2020
Adventure Day at Malvern College serves two purposes. Firstly, it gives those pupils with confirmed places for September 2021 a fun day packed with a whole range of activities from abseiling the turrets of Main Building to manoeuvring a Discovery Range Rover, using human power only. These fun activities help Yr 8’s meet fellow future pupils and also tests many essential soft skills; Communication, organisational, team working, problem- solving, adaptability and of course a can-do attitude.
Adventure Day is also the perfect opportunity for Yr 8’s who are as yet undecided about which senior school to choose. There will be lots of staff around to talk parents and answer questions about any aspect of Malvern College.
Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy some hospitality, read the Sunday Papers or explore the surrounding area.

Malvern at Work
In addition to individual visits and larger Open Days, we also offer the opportunity for smaller group visits during a normal working day at College. Taking place on Friday mornings during the School term, ‘Malvern At Work’ visits will begin with a welcome from the Headmaster, or another senior member of staff, and include a full tour of campus and a visit to one of our boarding houses, as well as an opportunity to chat with a range of College staff over refreshments. ‘Malvern At Work’ mornings are limited to a maximum of 12 families per event and will provide a useful and informative insight into the life and community at College.
