MALVERN BUZZ
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Rock Concert for Charity
Music is a great unifier and when five of our pupils got together in January they rocked The Rogers Theatre and passed the target of £500 to £770 all in aid of the Charity - The Teenage Cancer Trust.
Toilet Twinning by Stealth
For over two years Malvern College has been partnered with a charity called Toilet Twinning, that aims to build toilets in poverty-stricken areas of the world to improve sanitation. Funds are raised through a campus-wide game called Assassins. Our version is a huge game of tag and involves both pupils and teachers. So far the entry fee has raised a whopping £8,202.

‘Lingo’ Learning by Working Together
This new scheme was recently announced by the Headmaster. The College’s Sixth Formers who are native speakers of Spanish, French, German and Italian are volunteering to teach their languages to young learners in Years 3-6, at the Wyche CE Primary School, not far from the College.
The aim is to help bring the learning of languages to our primary schools and we believe our pupils’ expertise and enthusiasm will make a great difference to the language provision.
