By the end of the course students will be able to: make effective notes using the Cornell note taking model. Confidently
handle data. Make informed decisions using data. Analyse some of the key microeconomic issues currently affecting the UK economy. Analyse some of the key macroeconomic issues currently affecting the UK economy. Analyse the role of behavioural economics during the coronavirus crisis.
Course materials will include:
Teacher led presentations, articles, Ted Talks, videos.
Assessment:
Delivery of mini presentations and the production of short ‘The Economist’ articles.
