Learning objective
To design a product suitable for the breakfast cereal market.
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the course students will be able to:

» Interpret and use marketing data to inform decision making
» Understand and analyse the existing cereals market
» Understand, analyse and apply market research
» Identify a target market
» Consider the Marketing Mix: price to be paid, distribution and packaging of the cereal

This course will excite and inspire students who have chosen to take Business at A Level or IB Business Management and is an introduction to topics covered in the first year
of their course. Pupils will learn how to research information using quantitative skills, and then develop ideas based on that information to solve problems. This course will give students an appreciation of the business world, their purpose and why they exist.
