Improvements and New Initiatives
Thank you to all those who were able to join Carey Leonard and I for our Zoom meeting on Friday 23rd October, during which we outlined some exciting improvements and new initiatives, to be introduced later this year. Letters were sent to all parents following this meeting and copies can be seen on our website by clicking here. We also recorded the Zoom meeting for those who were unable to join us and the recording can be seen by clicking here.
The developments have been researched, discussed and scrutinised by staff and Governors for many months and no decisions have been made lightly. Whilst we understand that there will be nervousness about these changes from some, we have every confidence that they will help the school to go from strength to strength and to thrive for many years to come.

It is important that we have up to date Medical and Allergy information for your child so please ensure you notify us immediately of any changes.
Please Slow Down
Some cars have been driving fast around the school site. Please remember to drive safely and slowly on our school site for the safety of all our children, who may not be looking where they are going.
Key developments:
•
•
•
•
Greater flexibility for boarders. Pupils will be able to board full-time, weekly or on a part-time basis for any number of nights.
Fees will be reviewed and reduced in some cases to ensure that we not only offer the best prep school education in 7 the area but that we do so at the most competitive price.
In particular, day fees for children in years 4 to 8 will
be reduced.
No more lessons on a Saturday. Children will be encouraged to come to school on a Saturday, but attendance will become optional. For those who do join us, an exciting Saturday Enrichment Programme awaits. Sports fixtures will continue as in the past.
A forward-thinking curriculum will be developed with a focus on breadth as well as depth and with the intention of developing the skills looked for by senior schools and by future employers as well as the ability to perform well in exams.
