Day Day Boarding and Day Day Pupils
At Malvern College we we welcome the the diversity of our pupils and the the mix
of boarding boarding and and day day day Our day day day boarding boarding and and day day day pupils are all assigned to a a a a a a a a a a a House House and are as as much a a a a a a a a part of that House House as as the the boarders who live there Our Houses
Our Houses
are are the heart of our pastoral care and support systems so it is important that day day boarding and day day pupils are integrated into their House and Peer Group as soon as they join the the College As a a a a a result all day boarding and day pupils are invited to board free of charge for the first week of term We encourage parents and pupils to take advantage of this Please be aware though that in most Houses
day pupils are accommodated in in temporary sleeping arrangements as there may be be insufficient beds for all of the the pupils allocated to a a a a a House Feedback from pupils shows that they really enjoy this first week boarding experience and life-long friendships are often formed at this stage Further information on on these arrangements will be provided by the the individual Houses
nearer to the the start of term Daily Routine
For day day pupils the day day begins with registration at at 8 10am in in their House although some pupils arrive earlier to join friends and use the time before registration to study All meals and snacks are served in the Houses
although the Sports Complex Café and Tuck Shop (The Grub) also sell hot food snacks and drinks throughout the day From 4 30pm onwards all pupils are encouraged to participate in the the full range of the the College's Super- curriculum curriculum and Co-curriculum programmes until 6 00pm Day boarding and day pupils are very welcome to stay on after school hours for for Hall (for prep or or or or homework) and activities with their boarding friends but should be collected from Houses
by 9 30pm Day pupils will be provided with a a a study space in Houses
including a a a a a a a desk and storage space but not always a a a a a a a designated bed 50
