CLUB EVENTS UPDATE
Tables of 4 players competed to roll the right number for each part of the insect with the eventual winner being Si. Our action-packed afternoon came to a close as the BBQ began.
During the day everybody had a voting slip to fill in for our charity we will be supporting for the next year. Our raffle during the weekend was the final one for the charity Young Minds. The total raised for them over the year was £677. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes and
bought tickets. The charity for next year is The Sick Children's Trust. The evening continued with chatting, drinking and the Eurovision on the TV for anyone who wanted to watch.
Sunday morning saw bacon butties and time to pack everything away until next time.
If you thought attending the AGM sounded a bit boring for you think again it's a fun camping weekend with a meeting that lasts approximately 1 hour.

Assistant Discounts Manager David Marriott reports:
16 vans arrived on Friday afternoon and evening to see a great collection of vehicles of all shapes and sizes and ages from motorbike to military vehicle, all kinds of classic cars right up to Traction engines.
The Club displayed 11 vans in the showline and there was a steady flow of people looking at the vans showing a great interest.
We were treated to numerous displays in the county fair arenas, there were Gun dogs, birds of prey, dog show and even Ferrets, who knew that they are being used to lay data cables under motorways and they were used to lay cables under the millennium dome. There was a great display from the Welsh Axemen
which showed great skill and strength. There were a large number of food stalls and other traders, and of course there was a great range of ciders which were thoroughly tested by club members and it was given a thumbs up.
Although the weather was a mixture of sunshine and showers and cold evenings it was a great show well worth a visit.
