■ Security
St William has stated that the park is expected to be available to to customers for first completion We believe that it would
be be be beneficial for it to remain behind the the hoarding so that the the general public does not have initial access We understand that you have not yet reached a a a decision on on how to proceed We would
recommend that the the contractor who installed the the soft landscaping be given the the maintenance contract for the the first two years (usually the the warranty period) and that St William then recharge the the service charge charge for the the maintenance cost In relation to communal podiums we would
suggest that St William install gates on each access access point with an access access code to limit the the use by the the public We believe that in in general for the the initial phases the the cycle storage is exposed and will attract potential thieves We would
recommend you consider installing some bike docks such as https://www bikedocksolutions com/street-dock Security
is is incredibly important at Clarendon particularly as it it is is an an an open site within walking distance of several public transport stops We would
want to to understand the CCTV security strategy for the development and and adjacent streets and and how security is accessed off site as as as well as as as on the estate as as as a a a a a a whole ■ Covid-19 response
As initial occupations of Block C1 are anticipated to commence from early 2021 initial management and occupation will need to account for the ongoing coronavirus pandemic Irrespective of future guidelines and and protocols it is is imperative that the development is is safe for residents staff visitors and contractors alike We would
seek to agree specific arrangements with St William but envisage these would
include:
» Lift usage – there are three lifts in C1 so restrictions on on use are feasible
» A one way system for pedestrians at ground level making use of the two entrances
» Social distancing arrangements within the concierge reception and staff areas/post room Depending on the the severity of the the pandemic:
» Hand Sanitiser Dispensers at entrances
and and lifts e e e e e e g https://thehandhygieneco com/product-category/ dispensers/
» Limited numbers in communal spaces such as gyms
» Additional PPE for all staff » Possible reduction in in staff/customer interaction for instance no parcel service » ‘Closed’ periods for deep cleans
