Cross Country
Throughout this term a a a a a a number of Malvern College pupils took part in in in in in in cross country running every week including training sessions as as well as as interhouse competitions led by members of the teaching staff Cross country is an an amazing sport that requires resilience determination and hard work as runners from all all houses compete in in in in a a a a a a a a a number of challenging yet beautiful courses on the Malvern Hills There are weekly training sessions sessions with the the aim of helping pupils to become better at running the the focus being on on on improving speed and stamina Recent sessions sessions have featured the the the the popular route of of North Hill with the the the the highlight being ascending to to the the the the top of of the the the the Happy Valley There have been huge improvements among all members of the the the group as as we have managed to complete the the the difficult Senior College route just before the the the Christmas holidays alongside taking some incredible photos Cross country running will continue over the the the next term in in in in in the the the build up to to The Ledder the the the most important race of the year at Malvern College Shuaichu Pan (No 7 Lower Sixth)
Squash
The Malvern College Squash
team had their second fixture of the the season on on on Monday 7 November this time against Manor Park Squash
Club There were some good competitive matches with impressive victories for Ben Evans and Elliott Gibson However the overall victory went to to to Manor Park – – three matches to to to two – – and we look forward to a a a a a rematch later in the season Oliver Butterworth | Housemaster - House House No 1 & Teacher of Economics
