Growing Up
Over the next eight years, I saw Winston and Adele on countless mornings taking their daily walk, and I noticed that they always held hands. Not even once did I ever see them walking to- gether without holding hands. Although they lived right next-door to us, and although I saw them al- most every morning, they remained a very quiet and private couple.
