I believe you have spent peaceful new year with your family. First of all, I wish to give you my thanks for your services
last year. Based on your effort, we are expecting that the company will finish fiscal year of 21-22 with positive operating
profit. This is the result of your individual and team effort together with financial support from our mother company in
Japan. This year, we need to show that we are the one in India who represents Mitsubishi Power. Your safe and health
are the basis our company. Let's take care of our health and continue achieving our best performance.
We minimise risks at the workplace by assessing all potential hazards and implementing appropriate measures to
ensure and secure work environment.
As an organisation it is our responsibility to ensure safe work environment to every worker. To provide safe work
environment we should identify all potential hazards in appropriate stages.
1. Designing the Process / Activities -While Designing the process (Preparing Method Statement, Work
Instructions) - All potential hazards to be identified and appropriate alternate considered during designing
the process.
2. Introduction of process / Activities – HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) - To be carried out with
the Cross Functional Team to address all possible Hazards and provide right countermeasures
3. Execution of process / Activities – Hazards created on the process due Unsafe act shall be identified and
addressed immediately.- Through Management Safety Walk, Safety Audit & Safety inspections.
The solutions always prioritized to eliminate the hazards from the process / Activities, wherever it is not possible the
below hierarchy shall be followed.
1. Elimination
2. Substitution
3. Engineering Control
4. Administrative Control
5. PPE
Please note that PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment's) are the last solution and not the only solution, it
can reduce the impact of the incidences, can't prevent.
So all employees should effectively involve to identify hazards and provide appropriate solutions,
preferred to address the issues with Kaizens.
