3. Superlative Degree
We use superlative degree to show
the greatest degree of a quality or
quantity among three or more
people, animal, or things.
Please pay attention to the
following patterns and examples of
superlative degree:
Subject + To be + Adjective + -est/most +
Complement
For an adjective with one
syllable, you must add -est.
Example:
1) Devi is the smartest student
in the class.
2) Math is the hardest subject in
the school.
