For an adjective with more than

one syllable that ends in “y”,

you must add -est.

Example:

1) Lena is the funniest person in

the office.

2) Arabella wear the prettiest

dress in her birthday party.

For an adjective with more than

one syllable that does not ends

in “y”, but the adjective remains

unchanged, you must add most

before the adjective.

Example:

1) The red car is the most

expensive car in the showroom.

2) The beach has the most

beautiful view.
