Advancing to the Next Course in Mathematics:

A grade of an A or B is necessary to move forward in Honors courses. Students with a grade of C in the
previous course must secure teacher approval before enrolling in an Honors course. Students earning a D or F

Technology in Math Courses:

Technology is a natural fit for math courses and the 21st century. Teachers are making increasing use of

Internet based applications along with websites that are becoming interactive in nature. Students are

expected to have access to technology. Hudson High School has many sources of technology available to

students during the school day. It is also expected that students have internet access outside of school.

All math courses require a graphing calculator (a TI-84 family calculator is what the teachers use). Hudson
High School has programs available to obtain a graphing calculator for those families who demonstrate
financial need. Please contact your teacher for assistance in this area.
