GOAL 7: PROFESSIONAL, DEDICATED, AND HIGH-QUALITY STAFF

To attract and retain a positive, caring, and high-quality staff.

  OBJECTIVES:

  1. Maintain and expand upon current practices for “high tech/high touch” hiring.
  2. Ensure competitive compensation standards.
  3. Commit to continually support, equip, and offer professional development opportunities for the staff in

      order to provide our students with an excellent educational experience.
  4. Provide tools and strategies for stress relief, wellness and growth mindset opportunities.
  5. Continue to develop and refine the staff-mentoring program for the administration, teachers and

      support staff.
  6. Continue to encourage leadership attendance and presentations at state and national levels.

GOAL 8: TECHNOLOGY

To continually implement, utilize, and support innovative technology for meaningful instruction,
operations, and learning that enhances the development of our students in a financially
responsible manner.

  OBJECTIVES:

  1. Continue to develop technology skill sets as part of the curriculum instruction.
  2. Extend teacher and student capacity for teaching and learning beyond the classroom.
  3. Utilize “Creation Space” to enhance curriculum and extracurricular opportunities.
  4. Continue to evaluate and invest in technology to support our students and staff.

GOAL 9: HCER (HUDSON COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND RECREATION)

To provide lifelong learning and recreational opportunities, which empower stakeholders in
their personal lives and as members of society.

  OBJECTIVES:

  1. Conduct an analysis of course offerings to determine the relevance and interest within the 		
      community.	

  2. Review overall program financials and compare to other recreation programs and benchmark
      costs.

  3. Develop a long-term communications strategy to reflect and promote the depth and breadth of
      HCER.

  4. Continue to recruit and look for high-quality, student-focused instructors, coaches and volunteers.
  5. Explore opportunities for additional services and collaborative programming.
  6. Create and establish protocols for an HCER Advisory Board including representatives from crucial

      community partners.
