MEET OUR FARMERS
DAN GRAIFF FARMS
Dan Graiff Farms LLC began in the 1950’s when Dan and James Graiff’s father started farming on the land in
Newfield, NJ. The farm is now 200 acres. Graiff Farms harvests arugula, basil, dill, mint, cilantro, baby spinach
and baby arugula. They are serious about the sanitation of post-harvesting since they strive to deliver a top
quality and clean product. Graiff Farms uses sustainable farming practices and is always looking for innovative
ways to continue and improve their farming process. In order to ensure cleanliness, Graiff Farms takes a total of
15 minutes to complete its postharvest handling.
CASSADAY FARMS
The family business began in 1870 by George Cassaday’s great-great grandfather in Monroeville, New Jersey.
Originally it was a small family farm consisting of chickens, eggs, and hay to sustain the Cassaday family’s
needs. The farm later grew to include fruits and vegetables that were offered to Cassaday customers. Now, over
149 years later, Cassaday Farms runs on four generations of grassroots knowledge and locally grown goodness.
