SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Every component of Clinton Township Recreation is designed to provide support to the front-line seasonal staff members.
Written Materials
The handbook provides a resource to guide you through your duties and to help you with decision making on the job. The brochures provide you with information on all areas of Clinton Township Recreation programs and allow you to answer questions with accurate information. The handouts and flyers give you specific information you can hold on to.
Teen Volunteers
Teen volunteers provide every program with extra pairs of hands to accomplish site goals. They are also a primary training ground for future employees. Use teen volunteers to assist you with daily activities and projects. Bulletin boards, craft leadership, special posters and leadership with program ideas are all very good ways to utilize teen volunteers. See your supervisor and/or the Coordinator in charge of Teen Volunteers for guidance.
Technical Support Staff
Clerical Staff and Recreation Assistants - all of these positions are there to assist and serve the public and the seasonal staff. The tech support group is a wonderful resource for many of your programming needs. Go to Technical Support staff with questions on supplies, blank forms, equipment, bus information, payroll information, extra hours, etc.
Supervisory Staff
Supervisors are resource people first and foremost. They can help generate or review program ideas. They are also superb problem solvers in the face of communication, discipline and other areas. Supervisors expect and love to be asked questions.
Administrators
Administrators are the Director, Assistant Director and Recreation Coordinators. Administrators can be excellent resource people, also. Each administrator has worked your position as a seasonal employee and have walked in your shoes.

An invitation to share the Dropbox folder will be sent to your email. If you are a returning employee, make sure your link is going to the current year folder. Be sure you receive the link and open it to make sure you have access before Orientation week ends. Each staff member will need to access blank forms and every day camp staff member will have to complete a lesson plan and newsletter at least once – be sure you have knowledge of how this system works.
