FRIDAY, JULY 27 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Wild Game Night at the OAC
Are you interested in hunting but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you’d like to try some wild game but haven’t had the opportunity! Then come on down to the OAC for a fun wild game evening! The event will include introductory archery instruction and practice, followed by a wild game cooking demonstration and delicious appetizer tasting with drinks. DNR Wildlife Division will present an overview of hunting opportunities in southeast Michigan, and Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC) will share information about the Learn to Hunt Michigan program and the upcoming opportunities for hunting workshops near southeast Michigan. Food provided by Gourmet Gone Wild, drinks provided by Ugly Dog Distillery and Atwater Brewing. Ages 21 and older only.
FEE: $20 per person.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 3 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Girl’s Night Outdoors- Archery 101
Join us for our program series, Girl’s Night Outdoors (GNO)! If you are a woman interested in getting involved in more outdoor activities but don’t know where to start, this will be perfect for you! The evening will include a 45-minute introductory archery class, scavenger hunt and a lemonade/ice tea bar with a souvenir cup!

Detroit River Sunset Photography Social
Featuring: Milliken State Park
Lights on! Exposure open! Photo-shot! Are you ready to shoot photographs of the beautifully colored Detroit river sunset while enjoying a cocktail and meeting other photography enthusiasts? Join us for an evening of photography, drinks, and music at our photograph-taking place at the top of the Milliken State Park hill. Guests of this event will have the opportunity to go on photography-themed nature hikes to learn more about the opportunities shooting photos of urban wildlife. Professional and amateur photographers alike are welcome to attend this event!.
