Join us in celebrating the first big holiday weekend and the start of summer vacation! There is no better way to kick off summer than by spending some quality time outside playing games. We will feature a variety of family-friendly lawn games, sidewalk chalk, and even some team-building games!

SUNDAY, JUNE 3 1:00 P.M. AND 3:00 P.M. Go Fly a Kite!
Have you been waiting for the perfect windy day to try out kite flying? Come on over to the Outdoor Adventure Center! We will take a short walk across the street to Milliken State Park to take advantage of the windy breeze from the Detroit River. Practice your kite flying and marvel at the wonders of the Detroit River along with the beautiful Detroit skyline!
You can bring your own kite, or we will provide a kite for you that you can decorate before flying.

Join us for some outdoor games and fun. We will feature a variety of family-friendly lawn games, group activities, and an endless supply of sidewalk chalk!

THURSDAY, JUNE 21 12:30 – 2:30 P.M. First Day of Summer
Hooray! It’s the first day of summer! Let’s celebrate by enjoying a day in the sun filled with outdoor activities.

GM River Days is back for its' 12th year on the Detroit RiverWalk. This great festival features a carnival midway, free kids activities, live music, taste of Detroit food court and much more!
