Photo Challenge All Day • Social Media Challenge Day!
Do you enjoy dropping a hashtag on social media for a good cause? Do you enjoy going into the great outdoors and learning something new? Join us as we launch our first social media challenge at the Outdoor Adventure Center, in which WE challenge YOU to discover something new about Michigan's wildlife and post about it on social media using our "#learnwild" hashtag. You can even pass this challenge along by nominating as many friends as you want to take the "#learnwild" challenge. Tag the Outdoor Adventure Center in your post and you just might be our lucky winner selected to win a free OAC Family Membership with 2 guests for one year. Drop by our discovery table on the exhibit floor to learn about how some of our state and national parks are posting and going live on social media to deliver a nature experience to the comfort of your own home.

SUNDAY, JULY 1 1:00 Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Ice cream on a warm summer day is simply perfection. Join us to create some yummy ice cream concoctions. Our friends at Wally’s Frozen Custard will be serving from a fire truck!

Ever need an incentive to learn about worms? Here it is! Come celebrate (Gummy) Worms Day at the OAC by learning about different types of worms and what they do to help us all out! Get a chance to observe some worms up close ... and take home a gummy worm snack, too!

Have you ever experienced an awkward silence in an elevator with people you don’t know? That won’t happen today! We will have nature-conversation starter ideas in the elevator and throughout the building to help you get to know people better!
